Yes, Michael

Something I just noticed in watching episodes of "Arrested Development" on DVD: every episode begins with a shot of Jason Bateman's character, Michael, and Ron Howard saying the character's name ("Michael Bluth was..."). It appears to be part of their formula, sort of like ending every episode of "Yes, Minister" with the same two words. Plus it's their way of signalling that Michael is supposed to be the lead character, though this hasn't really worked.

Actually, I think there was one episode that started with Michael's son instead of Michael. It felt wrong somehow.
